    Foodss

    The aim of the FOODSS project is to promote local Sardinian products in less conventional foreign markets in order to increase employment opportunities in the food sector and deliver a training programme with international reach for young food workers in Sardinia. The first phase of the project developed an innovative form of cooperation within the food economy, it enhanced the skills of the local workforce and the competitiveness of the island’s production system. It also strengthened partnerships between South Korea and Sardinia and promoted local professionals and employment mobility policies. The aim of the second phase is to develop a cross-border exchange model between Sardinia and South Korea to improve the skills of the local workforce, enhance the competitiveness of the island’s production system and create opportunities for exchanges which will attract potential new investors.

    Master And Back

    It is a study programme that gives young Sardinian graduates the chance to grow. With Master and Back, they can apply for scholarships to attend master’s degree courses at universities outside their region - in Italy and abroad - and then put the skills they acquire during the course into practice when they get back to Sardinia.

    Talent Up

    The Talent Up programme is in its second phase. As in the first phase, future Talent-uppers will be selected from the candidates who apply to the public call “Talent Up 2021”. They will attend a training course which is divided into different stages: a maximum of 60 participants take part in the initial training session in Sardinia but only 25 will be eligible to continue abroad in one of the top start-up ecosystems in the world. Lastly, upon returning home they will turn their idea into a business with the technical support of Aspal, the Regional Planning Centre and Sardegna Ricerche.

Med New Job

Med New Job is an orientation and training programme to create a business in the nautical and blue economy sector. The aim is to build a governance model shared by the different stakeholders involved in the labour policies in the cross-border areas hit by the crisis, to boost production and employment in the sector. It is open to unemployed Sardinian residents with a business idea pertaining to the blue economy and its aim is to improve their skills with a training course and a paid three-month placement in a company in the sector.

ASPAL - EURODESK

The Aspal Eurodesk is open to future Eurodesk workers at employment offices and the experiment will be extended to five Eurodesk Centres in Cagliari, Quartu Sant’Elena, Oristano, Lanusei and Olbia. The objective is to raise awareness of cross-border mobility among young people. The aim of the project is to foster greater collaboration between Sardinia and the other European support networks and assist in the planning and management of events, seminars, campaigns and promotional initiatives about opportunities within Europe.
