- Facilitate access to the labour market for young people specialised in the green sector;
- Make available data and bases for evaluation for decision-makers which can lead to greater investment in innovative business areas and low-impact production/employment sectors;
- Build a space in the Mediterranean where the people involved in the project can meet for research, development, training and work in order to promote jobs and green economies.
The project involves the following phases:
- Drawing up of a EuroMed Green Jobs Chart where participants undertake to acknowledge the profiles and certification models created by the project;
- Platform to experiment a Euro-Mediterranean model to match supply and demand;
- Feasibility study containing data, analyses and “what ifs” which enable policy makers to evaluate investments in particular green sectors;
- Active involvement of stakeholders and policy makers in “commitment building”, namely the Euro Mediterranean Training and Employment Committee (ETEC);
- TES in Tunisia and Sardinia for all the participants of the experimental training;
- BES seminars to focus the attention of stakeholders and policy makers on environmental issues, and not just their relevance to employment and work.
